What's your vision?

July 20, 2009

The law of attraction + creating a vision board= a very powerful tool.

Basically the law of attraction asserts that like attracts like- if you’re keeping up a vibration that complements what you want, more things will come your way to make you feel that way.

When you make a vision board, it’s important to not only make it, but also use it. Used correctly, your vision board will assist you in producing a matching vibration to what it is you want to have, be or do in your life and in your environment. As a result, you have to FEEL what’s on your board- feel what it will feel like if the images are really in your life. This will help bring your vision/desires/goals into fruition.

So, how do you make one and what do you put on it?

You can use pretty much anything to create a vision board- a sheet of paper, a power point slide, or a poster board. I have a poster board across from my bed, one on my desk. I even have stuff on my planner lol.

Next, you just find pictures of things you want in your life. It can be the actual thing (i.e., a particular car) or a symbol (a picture of Kimora, to me, symbolizes success and Fabulosity). You can print pics from the internet or cut them out of magazines and catalogs. You can also put words on it like ‘success’, ‘believe’, etc.

If you’re making it on a poster or paper, glue or tape the pics on the board. Et voila! You have a vision board. You can take it a step further and frame it. Here’s mine (excuse the glare):

This is nice. I have actually been thinking about doing this to one wall in my room for some time now. I thought about it again this weekend. I think that I will! :)

i made one of these a little while ago, but didn’t really take the time to LOOK at it! I’m going to update it and put it somewhere I can’t help but see. :)

    Thanks for the reminder, Jamie.

Well, I started it. I only have up 3 pics right now, but I am going to work on it some more…I need to go through my mags. But girl, it really does work! I really gets you motivated! And since it is on my wall I have to look at it everyday! Perhaps as I build it up I will take some pics and post it on my blog! :)

I had a board last semester in college, but it was a collage of all the activities I`ve done throughout the year with people I care about. Its a memories board, to remind me that relationships are important to my happiness and well being. I think I`m gonna sit down this weekend and get working on one for my long and short term goals.. Thanks for the idea!
