Have some email manners, girl!
Of course, you don’t have any annoying email habits that make your recipients cringe. But since you might know someone who does, here are some tips for you her (from How to Improve your Email Etiquette-shine.yahoo.com).
- Change the subject line when you, well, change the subject. Being more descriptive helps the reader know what they should check first and when they need to search for a message later on.
- Don’t use email when another method fits better, such as picking up the phone or IMing.
- Answer questions inline. Meaning if somebody sends you an email with several questions, put your answers underneath the questions.
- Don’t try to have the last word. Remember, the convo has to end at some point.
- No ‘cute’ or ‘sexually suggestive’ names in your email addy. That means not hotgirlxxx69 or cutiewitabootie.

Haha well said. The cutesy little nick names, I would save that for a personal email address. My professional email address is very basic & to the point. Last thing I want is a potential employer turning me down based on whatever my email screen-name might imply!
This was a great post!
