Jimmy Blackwell, 51, has now been left blind due to the injuries sustained by the Hartwell Police, according to his daughter, Keesha Blackwell.

Was this the beating you were telling me about? Hopefully some more details come out in the case…looks like the policeman’s retaliation was way too extreme though. Wouldn’t a simple taser have sufficed instead of beating the man?
Why a taser wasn’t used is what I asked my husband when we first heard of this.It was told on Backtalk Live (Hart Cable Ch.31) that the police dept. has tasers but they don’t work.They can spend the money on a NEW City Hall and Jail and can’t buy batteries for a taser?
