I’m sure you’ve heard by now that about 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. How do you figure out your size? Two simple steps. You’ll need to figure out your band size (the 32, 34, 36, etc) and cup size (A, B, C, etc.)
Step 1: band size- measure around your rib cage, directly under your bust. Add 5 inches to this number. So, if you measure 29, your band size would be 34.
Step 2: Cup size- measure your bust at the fullest point. Now, you subrract the band size from this number to get cup size. So, if you have a 35-inch bust and 34-inch band, you’d wear a 34A.
In a nutshell: If bust minus band is 1 in., you’re an A cup; if it’s 2 inches, you’re a B, 3 inches is a C, 4 inches, a D, 5 inches, DD…and on from there.
Signs a bra doesn’t fit correctly:
1. It rides up in the back
2. It leaves marks
3. The center, between the breasts, doesn’t lie flat against the body
4. The straps slide off your shoulders
